Our Purpose:
Fellowship Missionary Church (FMC) exists to reach lost people and to develop them into fully devoted followers of Christ.
Core Values of Fellowship Missionary Church:
1. We believe that lost people matter to God; therefore, church growth is best
measured by conversion growth. (Acts 2:24)
2. We believe that dynamic corporate worship is honoring to God, inspiring for
believers and magnetic to seekers. (John 4:23-24)
3. We believe that anointed teaching is a primary catalyst for the imparting of truth
and transformation of lives. (Ephesians 4:12)
4. We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining
doctrinally pure. (1 Corinthians 9:22; 1 Peter 2:9)
5. We believe that evangelism is the responsibility of every believer and that
each person should be engaged in building relationships with lost people and
helping them journey to faith in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
6. We believe that discipleship is a continuous process and that such life change
happens best one on one and in small groups. (Acts 2:46)
7. We believe that the church should operate as a community of servants, each one
aware of and engaged in the use of their spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
8. We believe that loving, authentic relationships should permeate every aspect of
church life. (1 John 3:11)
9. We believe that the church should be led by spiritually mature individuals with
gifts of leadership, wisdom and discernment. (1 Timothy 3:1-7)
10. We believe that FMC is a part of the larger body of Jesus Christ and our desire is
for its advancement as much as our own. (Matthew 16:18)
11. We believe that ours is a “global God” whose heart for outreach to the world
mandates mission-mindedness. (Acts 1:8)
12. We believe that full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.
(1 Kings 11:4)
Our Beliefs:
1. The Holy Scriptures are the divinely inspired Word of God and are authoritative
in all matters of Christian faith and practice.
2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His
atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to
the right hand of the Father.
4. That Jesus Christ is the only Savior of men. Men are reborn through
genuine repentance and personal faith in Him.
5. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict, teach, guide, and enable
Christians to live a godly life.
6. That the Church is composed of believers in Jesus Christ. He is the Head and
the source of its life. The Church, Christ’s body, exists to bring glory to Jesus
Christ and to accomplish His purpose.
7. In the literal, personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ.
8. In the bodily resurrection of the dead. The believer will experience everlasting
blessedness and joy with the Lord, while the unbeliever will encounter judgment
and everlasting conscious punishment.
